TEKNO is an old traditional utensil carved out of aspen, used for washing and making bread.

TEKNO bench is part of the Gipsy Furniture Collection lauched by a+z design. It was inspired by the vividness and community cohesion of the Gipsy and folk cultures of Hungary and their mystical instinct for survival. We're transforming and designing basic objects once part of daily life and with a rich history of culture, tradition and artisian techniques now obsolete or disregarded and breathing new life into them.
