Prize winner in the international architecture and design competition Rodchenko’2011, section “Furniture design” (Moscow, Russia). The sofa concept was exhibited in Taipei World Design Expo 2011 as а part of Russian Designer Union exposition.
Another attractive part about this couch is its mood changes with the lighting. In the evening, it enlightens the couch in a romantic atmosphere and during the day it looks like a comfortable place to relax.
The sofa completely follows the slogan “All the women-the Queen!” and there could be no better place to comfort your drained body and relax your stressed mind. The slogan aptly demonstrates the sofa as no better thing could rejuvenate women and liberate them from stresses than flowers.
Working on ‘Fiori-divano’, I was inspired not so much by flowers but also by ideas of nature cycles which are at the head of all our life. That’s why the sofa has dynamic forms, embodying alternation of day and night, of fading and blooming.
