I was born on the beginning of the 70’s in one of the central European country, which wasn’t centre of the Europe at all. As many polish families that time we were living in small apartments in which aesthetics wasn’t issue and lack of space was present everywhere. Growing up in environment like this, gave me first opportunities for observation relationship between us and space, how particular materials affect us and what actually the space is and how to deal with it. But, in my formative years, there was another place, my grandpa’s endless library, where I discovered another world, world of nature, history, extraordinary cultures, odd ideas and magic of the science. Both places were rich sources of experience for me when curiosity of the world was accompanied by over sensitivity. In later years I was experimenting with the world on different levels, looking for perception based on relativity and connections between us and natural world. In age of 20 I wasn’t strictly connected to the particular medium of the design. For many years I was music club owner and manager, but also music events organiser. It was amazing experience to create dynamic, visual and sound environment for people in form of intimate almost private parties, clubbing events and open air music festivals. No matter what it was, each time it was created with some kind of idea, developed into particular direction involving different kind of artists, to create the scenography, happenings, music and visual dialog with the people. That time I also designed Interiors for several clubs, pubs and private houses.
After ten years of such kind of experience I moved to UK to study Interior Design with Rhodec International in London, from which I was graduated with Upper Merit Diploma. During the study I discovered that I feel more comfortable with product design itself, which give me opportunities to create sculptural objects for living not only space for them. As designer I love natural materials as wood or natural fibres, but also man produced modern materials as contemporary glass, advance plastics like polymers or resins and nanofibres. All materials give us different solutions and appearances, but using each of them we need consider in sustainable terms to make sure its green nature from stage of production to recycling.

‘LEGO me’ shelves are based on simple cubic module, made from three layers in which external and internal layers are transparent, white acrylic, and interlayer is 10mm zebrawood or any exotic hardwood, with significant pattern, contrasted with purity and clarity of acrylic material. Modules are produced in several different variants to allow create desirable shapes.
Horny, smooth, elegant legs are made from the same wood what interlayer of the module gives the furniture, sophisticated appearance.
Growing population is leading to two distinct living trends. First, are rather compact, limited spaces for common people, sometimes cluttered or sometimes empty. Another group of living spaces are spacious houses, lofts, and so on. Whatever it is, indispensable part of our space are storage and display solution.
My idea was to create something universal in shape, material and stylistic affection, which could be assembly on a site, with individual approach, fitting to the space and personal needs.
General dimensions:
External cubic dimensions - 350mm / 350mm/ 350mm,
Internal cubic dimensions - 250mm / 250mm/ 350mm
