I have designed a coffee table where you can mount any 32" LCD television on its back, under glass, inside a table. Then people can hook there choice of electronics up to the television. For example they could connect a computer to the television and have access to the internet right there in their coffee table. So with this I have turned my living room into a dual screened entertainment center. I'm able to watch a football game on my big screen and check the scores of different games on my coffee table. This would also be great in schools when students have group projects, they could just gather around this table instead of one little computer screen.
This method of mounting a television (whether it be LCD, LED, OLED, ect.) underneath glass could be used for different kinds of tables, such as dining room tables, end tables, or restaurant booth tables. In restaurants they could put the menu on the television or even sell advertising space. Also all of these tables could be made to support different sizes of televisions. This idea is just for table. The consumer would have to choose/provide their own electronics to put inside the table.
