Materials: a wide range of materials are used, from soft cotton to extremely strong wood. Also a rigid plastic, paper, yarns and wire are regularly incorporated. It is precisely this contrast which creates the distinguishing structures and reliefs. The precise material specifications are investigated for each and every project.
Inspiration: Abstract arhitectural concepts such as order, rhythm and repetition are an important source of inspiration in the language of thread structuring. The lines of building constructions, such as tile grids, or the landscapes are the staring points. But there is also a relationship with more dynamic concepts such as movement ,light and nature, giving the purely mathematical patterns a deeper content.
Application: The concept of these sculptural constructions, allows the fabric to be used in a wide variety of disciplines: from fashion and design to interiors and arhitecture.
