The EKG table is inspired by the graphic representation of a heartbeat. The familiar wave pattern of an electrocardiogram is transformed into a dynamically curved coffee table that offers integrated storage space.
I've always found the pattern of electrocardiograms intriguing and wanted to design a product that utilizes the pattern in some way. So I finally came up with the perfect idea for this, a coffee table that uses the wave pattern to create storage and display space as part of the table surface making this the perfect living room addition.
