Mosaic is an art form, which has a history of several thousand years, seen in many cultures around the world. The ancient Greeks and Romans knew that the impressive mosaics are the perfect combination of durability, functionality and beauty. Even more recent big artists, such as Gaudi, Klimt, Chagalle and Niki de St. Phalle have found the art of mosaic to be a formidable source of inspiration, making a major contribution to this art form.

It is not surprising that with the magnificent choice of colors, textures and materials many artists have transformed their creative ideas into the most original works of art. Admired and sought after by a big number of art collectors.

In the atelier of Kramer Mosaic & Design the furniture, be it wood, steel or iron, are designed and produced, then worked on with mosaics.

The designs are made of different materials, such as ceramic, glass and semi-precious stones. The mosaics are selected, cut and sized manually and placed with a meticulous work on the surface of the furniture, making out of each item a luxurious and unique work of art.
