The Scoop chair is made of fibreglass and allows both indoor and outdoor use.
The idea behind Scoop, or more precisely the influence behind it, is the well known toy View-Master which was very popular in the 70's.
This item made it possible for people to "experience” highlight places from all around the world in a more realistic way compared to an ordinary photo.
View-Master is based on the renaissance instrument Stereoscopy which task was to increase the visual feeling of depth like 3D movies do today.
The aesthetic look is on the other hand influenced by the aerodynamic language of the 1950's which was typical for the car and airplane industry.
Why not experience the world yourself from an original Scoop?
