ZUDO 1 with its soft silhouette and rounded edges, appears to be very modern - the lines are merging fluently in a perfectly harmonious way. The fire extinguisher cabinet is available in more than 200 different colours each. The highlight: The fire protection symbol on the front, available either according to regulation BGV A8 (Accident Prevention & Insurance Association regulation) or ISO 7010, is lasered out finely and provided with a coloured acrylic backing glass plate, thus allowing for individual colour combinations. Either model boasts an extremely high quality workmanship: The magnetic closure with rubber buffer allows for easy, singlehanded opening and closing of the cabinet. The special movable galvanized steel hinge also ensures that the door does not get jammed and always remains flexible.

Fire protection engineering and design: Two terms that at first glance have little in common. A fire extinguisher is in fact the epitome of a functional product that as a rule is hidden in the hindmost corner and even offends the eye of the beholder with its flaming red colour. Designer Christian Dorn and fire protection expert Holger Züfle explore a different way: At the beginning of June, the two Germans from the Black Forest are launching two fire extinguisher cabinets characterized by unadorned beauty of form and aesthetics on the market under their new brand ZUDO®. "Our philosophy is based on a
combination of design and functionality," says Dorn. "We noticed that especially in public buildings with high standards with respect to design, such as hotels or museums, there is always a fire extinguisher to be found hanging somewhere, completely interrupting the overall picture - our ZUDO® models, however, themselves become a part of the aesthetics of the room."
